Frequently asked questions
Where is my progress saved?
On your device only. Levels, the gallery, coins, boosters and settings are saved in the app's storage; in the browser version, in that browser's site data. There are no accounts and no cloud saves, so progress doesn't move between devices or browsers.
Uninstalling the app or clearing the browser's site data deletes it. In a private window, or when a game portal's page is not allowed to store data, progress lasts only until the tab is closed.
How do I start over?
Open Settings (the gear icon in the top right corner of the map) → Reset progress and confirm. Levels, pictures, coins and boosters start from the beginning; your settings, such as sound and language, stay. This can't be undone.
How does rewinding work?
When no move can save the shelf any more, the game shows Dead end! and offers to rewind a few moves to the point where the level can still be solved. The first rewind in each attempt is free; after that it costs 40 coins. You can also keep playing or start the level again.
If the shelf fills up, you can undo the last move (the first undo in an attempt is free) or try the level again. Restarting a level is always free.
What do the boosters do?
- Undo takes back the last move.
- +1 slot adds one more place on the shelf.
- Magnet pulls 3 needed gems into the picture.
- Hint lights up the best 3 moves, one by one.
- X-ray shows, for 5 moves, the 2 trays under each top tray.
You start with two of each; more are in the Shop for coins. A level won without boosters, rewinds or extra slots gives bonus coins.
How do I earn coins?
Every first win of a level gives 20 coins, a replay 5, and a win without boosters or rewinds 1.5 times as much. Finishing a world for the first time adds 100 coins, and a daily gift of 30 coins is waiting once a day.
Where do new pictures come from?
New worlds and level improvements arrive by themselves: when you're online, the game checks for an update (at most every six hours), downloads it in the background and uses it from the next start. Your progress is kept. The scenery of a world is downloaded when you reach it; offline, you keep playing what you already have.
Finished every level? The Endless Gallery offers familiar pictures with new tray layouts while new worlds are being made.
Can I play without the internet?
Yes. The Android and iOS apps play offline. The browser version needs a connection to load, then keeps working while the tab stays open.
How do I change sound, vibration, language or statistics?
All of them are in Settings (the gear icon). Anonymous statistics turns off the game's usage statistics and crash reports; see the privacy policy for what they contain.
I found a bug. What should I send?
Write to [email protected] with the level number, what happened and what you expected, your device or browser and the app version (the last line in Settings). A screenshot helps a lot.
